Throughout 2020, Jersey Finance will be hosting a funds masterclass series delving into the key initiatives impacting the funds sector to audiences in a number of locations across the globe.

Our third event, taking place at the Ritz-Carlton at the Dubai International Finance Centre on Wednesday 11 March, is aimed at managers, fund lawyers, fund tax advisers and anyone associated with fund establishment.

This will be a unique chance to hear from Dubai and Jersey based funds experts on the full case for:

  • Easy, cost effective distribution of alternative funds marketed to institutional investors in the EU, the UK post-Brexit and ‘rest of world’. The event will look at the benefits of National Private Placement Regimes (NPPR) versus the Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive (AIFMD) passport and highlighting the advantages of Jersey as a gateway into Europe for fund managers.
  • Fund structuring covering the increasing importance of ESG, co-investment opportunities for family offices and sharia compliant funds.
  • Fund domicile research – Jersey Finance will share the key findings of their recent survey on fund domiciles.

Registration will begin at 3 pm where there will also be ample opportunity to network before the event begins at 3.30 pm.
